This past Sunday a bunch of us from the marina decided to put our dinghies in the water and cruise down to the North end of the beach. We had 6 dinghies (plus 1 that joined us later) and 4 dogs with us and the plan was to head to Nervous Nellies for a drink for the first stop. As predicted, we had a couple of technical issues with a couple of the dinghy motors which resulted in some towing but we all managed to arrive without difficulty. After a round at Nervous Nellies, the plan was to head over to Doc Ford’s for some food and drinks. When we got to Doc Fords, we were told they didn’t allow pets there, even on the outside patio. This surprised us as several beach establishments allow pets on the outdoor patio seating. We were disappointed, but we decided to head next door to Buffalo Bills. While there, we were asked by several folks if we were some sort of official club they could join. I guess it looked like we were having way too much fun. We had a great dinner and drinks with our friends before heading back to the marina. I think we will be doing this again since we all had such a blast.
